ABOUT
η΄„

Firstly, Megumi Bakufu and all aspects of her character are exclusively mine. This original character is a cherished creation of mine. Please refrain from appropriating her.All artwork currently featured on her account is not made by me. Her display picture is by Toonhunter. Jessica Rabbit is sometimes used as her face claim. She embodies the archetype of a femme fatale. This account is not intended for lewd content; rather, her purpose is to cocktease the hell out of you for the sake of manipulation. All roleplays are welcome, whether they involve original characters or canon characters. I am open to multiverse and alternative universe storylines as well.I have no objections to combat roleplay. If you wish to engage her in a fight, feel free to do so, or you may contact me privately to discuss a plot.I appreciate detailed responses, as many of you are aware. However, I do not expect an excessive amount of detail in return from my partners. While I may provide a lengthy starter or reply, there is no obligation for you to match my level of detail; I simply want to make you aware of my writing style.I would like to respectfully mention that I prefer to minimise out-of-character comments or writer brackets, as they can clutter the timeline. I do not utilise the mute function, so if you find yourself unfollowed, please do not take it personally; it is merely a matter of my preference. My primary focus here is roleplay. Please do not request a follow; follows will be earned.Given her character's nature, the content may be mature. While Megumi may not directly engage with certain themes, this account may address topics such as extreme blood and gore, violence, sexual violence, explicit sexual themes, strong language, substance use, mental health issues including PTSD, the use of firearms, and paranormal or supernatural elements, and anything else that falls under triggering. I don't hide any of it.Megumi's sexual orientation across all narratives, excluding Bioshock, is characterised as aromantic and asexual.I typically reserve sexual encounters for my exclusive partner if a romantic connection is relevant to a storyline or if I feel it is appropriate. I will not write casual lewd.I prefer it when people interact with me first before I follow, but that said, I won't continue to follow people who don't write with me. If you're not taking advantage of my calls or replying to your ones I've interacted with, I'll unfollow. With that said, if you disagree with my portrayal or have an aversion to original characters for no discernible reason, I kindly ask that you refrain from following. Space curator - I block pretty freely and don't entertain giving explanations. You'll be blocked unapologetically for being a drama-stirring troglodyte or any usual DNI I can't stand.I will continue to update this information as I think of additional details, so please check back periodically.

β€” ❖ β€”

Megumi was born to a small, upper-class family situated in Konohagakure. Her mother was an elite special forces ANBU, and her father was a Jōnin squadron leader with a militant persona. Megumi’s parents migrated to the mainland from Uzushiogakure after being summoned by the First Hokage to support his military effort in the village by utilising their unique kekkei genkai. Her mother was seven months pregnant when they arrived at the shores of the village; they settled, and Megumi was born two months later, the eldest of twins. A child born from an arranged marriage between her parents’ clans in hopes of making a strong shinobi, Megumi is blessed with both her kekkei genkai and was noted as a remarkable student from her start of enrolling at the academy, her abilities blossoming and developing a level of skill that would make her a renowned and respected prodigy as a kunoichi of Konohagakure.During her late childhood, Tobirama Senju, the Nidaime Hokage, paid particular interest in Megumi’s strength, noting from observation her unwavering confidence and skill in the way of Shōton, and took her on as his personal, private student in the hopes of raising her in the art of defensive tactics, serving in battle as a walking shield. She surpassed Genin, ChΕ«nin, and Jōnin and had flawlessly mastered the art of subliminal and defensive techniques, being the equivalent of a brick wall. She desired to venture into the Black Ops sector, but her undertakings were cut short with the deceleration of the First Shinobi World War. It came shortly after the death of her father, and Megumi, an adolescent, took to the front line alongside her sensei and his team, which consisted of Sarutobi Hiruzen and Shimura Danzō, both aged nineteen. She lost friends, many of whom she personally witnessed perish. And in its last few months, news reached her that her brother had been executed as a prisoner of war, only days since Tobirama Senju had given his own life to save his team from capture. Though the fighting ultimately came to an end, it proved soul shattering. With the mass exposure to pestilence, death, and other horrors, it ended up reshaping Megumi. She moved on, hardened from her experiences, and became a member of the elite ANBU Black Ops within Konohagakure’s military, earning herself a position as the Sandaime Hokage's personal guard. In her childhood, Megumi was a confident, persistent, bright-eyed kunoichi who, although sociable and outspoken, was prone to fizzling, arguing, and throwing her fists over words, which wound up with her in the Hokage’s office for punching her fellow students. She was mollycoddled by her parents, doted on by her brother, and therefore has an air of haughtiness and β€œprincess” about her. She gained a strong adoration and sense of duty at a young age through her father and mentors. As an adult, Megumi is more resilient, a pessimist, aloof, to herself, and withdrawn toward most. She carries a strong sense of no-nonsense and only allows a handful of people past the walls she’s built inside. The most striking part of Bakufu is the femme fatale elegance she grew into, an alluring, coquettish demeanour that she harbours like an art.Although Megumi is heavily sultry through her occupation as a kunoichi and comes across as self-centred, she is moral and deeply compassionate for the few people she allows herself to be. This doesn’t pardon her vainglorious narcissism, which sticks with her no matter her age.β€” ❖ β€”

She identifies as aromantic/asexual.She identifies as strictly she/her.She is a Baroness, essentially a Dame or OBE, by modern standards. She possesses a two tattoos, a prominent greyscale ivy vine that spirals from her left hip to her knee and the Anbu Black-Ops swirl on her upper-left arm.She wears multiple different perfumes, but her signature one is incense, opoponax and anise. In the real world, it has the same notes as Dior's 1985 Poison. She has a terrible smoking habit, easily going through a pack a day, and, more privately, struggles with alcoholism. Her virtues are that she is determined, charming, intelligent, and well-educated.Her vices are that she is overconfident, selfish, conceited, a snob, and stubborn. She embodies a femme fatale persona, characterised by feline grace and sensuality, lethal charm, and salacious allure. She enjoys cigarettes and fur, whisky and lace, silks and satins, lipstick, glitter, and glamour. It's rare she'll wear heels lower than six inches. Her favourite colour is coral/pale orange. She likes sakura mochi. She doesn't like udon in spicy broth. Her hobbies are karaoke, ama diving and fortune-telling.The person she wants to fight the most is Tobirama Senju. Her favourite word is "darling", which she calls everyone.Despite being Japanese, she lacks the accent and instead speaks with an American accent. Her voice claim is Claudia Christian (Helga Sinclair from Disney's Atlantis). Her Japanese voice claim is Reiko Takashima, Helga's Japanese dub.Her great-great-great-great-grandmother on her mother's side was Uzumaki. This makes her related to Naruto, Karin and Nagato, and through her father's side, is a blood relative of Guren.

Megumi is a unique agent and kunoichi, trained by a covert organisation that engages in Black Ops activities for affluent clients. She claims to originate from a concealed shinobi village beyond the city limits and made her debut in the hero community during its inaugural year, quickly achieving an A-rank due to her innate talents in powerful nature-based ninjutsu, particularly her mastery over mineral crystals and diamond matter. Externally, she presents as an oriental redhead with a penchant for vintage elegance, exhibiting remarkable competence as a lethal cigarette smoker who captivates the opposite sex and proves exceptionally difficult to eliminate. With a catlike grace, svelte form, and agility, she is acutely aware of her allure and skilfully employs it to her advantage. While she masquerades as a professional hero affiliated with the Hero Association, Megumi is, in truth, a double agent, receiving compensation from the nefarious group Kaijin Kyōkai to collect sensitive intelligence on registered heroes. Her duplicitous nature, along with her connections and status as an A-class hero, has allowed her to operate undetected. She is renowned within the Association and among the public for her femme fatale elegance, flirtatious demeanour, and playful personality, which she cultivates as an art form, although she prefers to remain out of the public eye and lead a more secluded existence. In certain contexts, Megumi may be perceived as an anti-heroine; however, her primary allegiance lies with those who can afford her services. She embodies duplicity, presenting multiple facets of herself as a cunning spy willing to manipulate any situation to her advantage.Despite her sultry persona as a kunoichi and her seemingly aloof or self-absorbed nature, she harbours a deep compassion for the select few who penetrate her defences, though this does not excuse her pronounced narcissism.

Megumi serves as a special agent and trained assassin for Hyperion, tasked with the role of a "cleaner" to conduct covert operations directly for Handsome Jack. Originating from one of Jupiter's moons, she joined Hyperion following Jack's ascension to power, quickly earning acclaim for her skills and impressive record of successful missions.Externally, she presents as an oriental redhead with a penchant for vintage elegance, who showcases proficiency in captivating men and proves exceptionally difficult to eliminate. With a catlike grace, she is both svelte and agile, fully aware of her allure and adept at leveraging it to her advantage.Despite her affiliation with Hyperion, Megumi operates as a triple agent, receiving compensation from the rival corporation Maliwan to collect sensitive intelligence on Hyperion while also working for Nonpareil, whose objective is to eliminate the Sirens throughout the galaxy. Her ability to navigate this complex web of allegiances goes unnoticed, aided by her duplicitous nature, her friendships, and her strategic marriage to Handsome Jack, which she meticulously planned to facilitate her acquisition of information regarding the two Sirens he was pursuing (Lilith and Maya) and a third rumoured to be in his possession.Throughout Pandora, Megumi is renowned for her whispered femme fatale elegance, flirtatious demeanour, and playful personality, which she cultivates as an art form, though she prefers to remain out of the public eye, leading a largely private existence with very few having glimpsed her.In certain contexts, Megumi may be perceived as an anti-heroine; however, her primary allegiance lies with those who can afford her services. She embodies duplicity, presenting multiple facades and functioning as a cunning spy willing to manipulate any situation or individual for her own gain.Despite her sultry demeanour and the perception of being aloof or self-absorbed due to her profession, she possesses a profound compassion for the select few who manage to breach her defences. However, this does not excuse her excessive narcissism. Her empathy ultimately complicates her objective to eliminate the Sirens, as she learns that the one believed to be in Jack's possession is his daughter, Angel, whom she had not even realised was her stepdaughter.Faced with the realisation that she cannot harm the child of the man she has come to loveβ€”an unforeseen twist in her planβ€”she forsakes her mission for Nonpareil, leaves Jack, and vanishes, becoming a fugitive pursued by both Hyperion and Nonpareil. Nevertheless, she retains a permanent association with Maliwan.Following Jack's demise, Megumi returns to Hyperion, with the circumstances of her disappearance remaining undisclosed to the staff, who accept her back without question, recognising her as the widow of their CEO. She embarks on a romantic relationship with Hugo Vasquez, resuming her role of extracting information for Maliwan while leveraging both companies for protection against Nonpareil.Prior to the events of Borderlands 3, Megumi acquires the abilities of a fallen Siren, gaining powers related to crystal and diamond manipulation, which draws the intense interest of Lady Aurelia Hammerlock.β€” ❖ β€”

The thin, sharp senbon can distract or incapacitate enemies, while the uniquely shaped kunai are effective in close combat and ranged attacks. This hidden arsenal ensures she's prepared even without her main firearm. She carries small, toxic cyanide capsules hidden in poison rings on her fingers, which look like fashion accessories but serve a tactical purpose. She wears them in weapon-free zones to remain armed discreetly. She has a hacktool, so to hack machines at a distance.Body measurements:

β€” ❖ β€”

Before Rapture, Megumi was an actress in the film industry, recognised in the Western world as Grace Waters. With her striking oriental features, unique hair and undeniable talent, she quickly garnered attention in Hollywood, landing roles in several critically acclaimed films. Her performances showcased a range of emotions, from heart-wrenching drama to light-hearted comedy, earning her a reputation as a versatile actress. However, despite her rising fame, Megumi felt constrained by the superficiality of the industry and the constant pressure to conform to societal expectations, battling misogyny and racism.
Driven by a desire for artistic freedom and a yearning to escape the confines placed on her celebrity status, she became intrigued by the vision of Rapture, a utopian underwater city that promised a new beginning for those who sought to break free from the limitations of the surface world, which she had learned of from a friend who had been invited to relocate. The allure of a place where creativity could flourish without the interference of societal norms captivated her imagination. She saw an opportunity to redefine herself and her career. She meticulously crafted her application, highlighting not only her acting credentials but also her unique perspective as an artist. She emphasised her ability to connect with audiences on a profound level, her innovative approach to storytelling, and her commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance art.
Her cunning and charisma played a crucial role in her application process. Megumi understood the importance of networking and leveraged her connections within the industry to gain insights into the values and expectations of Andrew Ryan's board. She presented herself as a visionary who could contribute to the cultural landscape of Rapture, promising to bring a fresh perspective that would resonate with the city's ambitious ideals.Ultimately, her efforts paid off. The board recognised her potential and offered her a position. With a mix of excitement and trepidation, Megumi accepted the offer, ready to embark on a new chapter in her life, one that would challenge her creatively and personally in ways she had never imagined. Little did she know that the world of Rapture would test her in ways that would ultimately redefine her understanding of art, ambition, and the human experience. She moved there in 1950, and became a figure listed in The Vanishing.Beyond her illustrious career as a film actress, her history is shrouded in obscurity and militarism, concealed and supplanted by a fabricated existence. Initially, she was a former operative of the Kempeitai, the formidable intelligence division of the Japanese Imperial Army, where she was trained as a femme fatale and honeypot agent in the aftermath of World War II. She is a master manipulator and a woman of many faces, weaving intricate webs of deception to achieve her goals. Her training in the Kempeitai had honed her abilities to not only gather intelligence but also to seduce and manipulate powerful men, making her a dangerous asset in any environment. In Rapture, she emerged as a captivating figure who drew the attention of the renowned artist Sander Cohen. With an eye for beauty and a penchant for the dramatic, Cohen affectionately dubbed her "Poppy Seed", entranced by her presence, declaring her to be "one of the most beautiful creatures ever put on God's green Earth". She became Cohen's muse toward the end of 1950 and his close friend, becoming the focal point of his early masterpieces, her likeness immortalised in his paintings and sculptures that adorned the walls of Rapture's galleries. By 1951, the art world buzzed with excitement at her, and her recognition as Cohen's subject only elevated her own status within the city's artistic circles, making her a sex symbol, an idol, and an inspiration. Her films became staples of the Ryan Film Industry, men hung her photo in their locker rooms, women everywhere jumped to transition from glamorous blonde to vibrant redhead. However, this newfound wave of surface-kin fame did not go unnoticed. Frank Fontaine, a powerful electronics tycoon ten years her senior, with a reputation for his shrewd business acumen, became intrigued by the artist's work and, more importantly, by the woman who inspired it. Fontaine, always one to seize an opportunity, acquired Cohen's piΓ¨ce de rΓ©sistanceβ€”a stunning portrait of Megumiβ€”as a seemingly thoughtful gift for his wife. This act, however, was laced with ulterior motives, as Fontaine was captivated by the starlet's beauty and charisma.Every man in Rapture desired her, and Fontaine was no exception. The two were formally introduced at Cohen's lavish Christmas party at the end of 1951, a gathering that shimmered with the opulence and decadence characteristic of Rapture's elite. Ever the charismatic host, Cohen facilitated their meeting, but wad unaware of the tempestuous affair that would soon unfold as Frank pursued her. As their meetings progressed, the chemistry between Megumi and Frank became obvious, despite the societal constraints of his marital commitments and family obligationsβ€”an affair that his wife likely suspected yet chose to ignoreβ€”and his notorious reputation as Rapture's first Don.While Megumi openly accepted her role as his mistress thereafter, it was done with a subtlety that allowed for plausible deniability, and they reveled in a life filled with opulence and indulgence.A year later, during a trek back from a celebration of Cohen's sculpture exhibition, she was assaulted by an unidentified attacker and stabbed with raw ADAM. The identity of her assailant remained a mystery, although there was ongoing speculation that it could have been Suchong, an obsessed admirer, a hit orchestrated by someone harboring animosity towards Frank, his spurned wife, or a fellow socialite or media competitor, envious of her beauty and longing for it, seeking to tarnish it. The police discovered Megumi after her casting agent reported her absence from rehearsal the following morning. Although she survived the ordeal, she was left with a mutation: she had the ability to grow diamond and crystal substances from her skin. Frank took her to his colleague, Yi Suchong, with whom he had worked to develop the plasmids. The two men conducted tests and found that her mutation rendered her bulletproof, fireproof, resistant to cold, apathetic, and undetectable by DNA scanners. Frank resolved to keep the starlet's mutation confidential, intending to exploit it for his own purposes as tensions escalated in Rapture. Her mutation was listed as "Experiment 5", and was named as "Plasmid: Ol' Razzle Dazzle".At that point, everything between Frank and her changed. Now she had a practical purpose, beside being the high-class broad he stuck it to.The relationship between Megumi and him spiraled into a toxic and physically abusive dynamic, characterised by his manipulation and control of her. As time passed, Megumi developed a deep-seated fear of his intense demeanor, which was often unpredictable and volatile. She saw another side she didn't know existed outside rumours, but to witness it was another thing. His formidable influence over both her and Rapture's underground made the idea of leaving him seem not only daunting but utterly futile. Despite her strong sense of independence and desire for autonomy, she found herself increasingly bound to him, shackled by the chains of intimidation. In the oppressive environment, Megumi was treated more like a trophy than a girlfriend. Her abilities and fame were exploited, she was isolated from Cohen, working exclusively for the Manta Ray Lounge and spreading Fontaine propaganda, and even viewed as potential bait to attract Ryan, a man known for his preference for beautiful women. This objectification further eroded her sense of self-worth, as she felt reduced to a mere tool in someone else's game rather than being valued for who she truly was.As a representative for Fontaine Futuristics, Megumi typically interacted with Suchong on his behalf.Frank had informed her of his departure for business during a particularly tumultuous period, a moment that would mark the last time she would see him. Shortly after, in 1958, he was killed in a shootout, and for a fleeting moment, Megumi believed she had finally gained her freedom from the suffocating grasp of their toxic romance. She returned to work and to Cohen, resuming her previous life. However, her newfound sense of liberation was short-lived. A month later, she was approached by Atlas, who sought her assistance for his own agenda. As their interactions unfolded, it soon became clear to Megumi that Atlas was, in fact, Frank, though he maintained a carefully crafted disguise around her, as he had everyone. This revelation reignited feelings she thought she had buried, and complicated her emotions. Megumi chose not to reveal her awareness of his true identity, fearing for her life, and both she and Atlas came to recognise the others shared skill in play-acting and undercover operations. Their relationship was fiercely reignited under this new identity. However, the arrival of Elizabeth Comstock into Megumi's life would change everything. After Elizabeth began her visits to Rapture, Megumi knew of her as a musical sensation under his tutelage. The two women met at a movie premiere hosted by Cohen, and she found herself inexplicably drawn to Elizabeth. Cohen, sensing it, encouraged the two women. The connection they shared was electric, and Megumi felt a warmth and understanding with Elizabeth that she had thought impossible. It was by coincidence that she observed Elizabeth utilising her tear powers, believing it to be a Plasmid. However, upon discovering the same tear in Suchong's laboratory, she realised that it represented an opportunity to escape Rapture and be with the woman she cherished.Unwilling to take further risks, Andrew had Megumi rounded up and added to Fontaine's department store, alongside Atlas and his revolutionaries, and sank it. Whilst down there, things began to get tense once again. Eventually, discovering The Silverfin contained Elizabeth's original tear, she mustered the courage to leave Atlas, abandoning him to his fate alone in the depths of Rapture, just before Elizabeth arrived at the department store to free him. Megumi hijacked Suchong's tear and transported herself to Columbia, 1912, to find Elizabeth.β€” ❖ β€”After she enters the tear, returning to Colombia proved to be a grave error. Megumi learned that Elizabeth was confined within the Tower of The Lamb, and without the syphon's destruction, she was unaware of who she was, her memory of Megumi lost without access to the door to Rapture. When Columbia collapsed, Megumi was able to flee aboard the evacuation ship, and after the syphon was finally eliminated, Elizabeth got her memories back and made her way to Rapture to kill the last Father Comstock, thus perpetuating the cycle of meeting the redhead.By 1959, amidst the outbreak of Rapture's Civil War, the Megumi who had escaped from Colombia found herself in New York, where she achieved fame as an actress and entered into marriage with a fellow performer, Harrison Gilbert. In this timeline, she remains alive at the age of seventy-seven, her Plasmid still active and still a secret, and Elizabeth but a fond memory.β€” ❖ β€”

She identifies as aromantic/bisexual.She identifies as strictly she/her.She possesses a single tattoo, a prominent greyscale ivy vine that spirals from her left hip to her knee. She wears multiple different perfumes, but her signature one is incense, opoponax and anise. Her hobbies are karaoke, ama diving and fortune-telling.Despite being Japanese, she lacks the accent and instead speaks with an American accent. Her voice claim is Claudia Christian (Helga Sinclair from Disney's Atlantis). Her Japanese voice claim is Reiko Takashima, Helga's Japanese dub.She goes by the codename "Nancy" whilst working on behalf of Atlas, her gun is called "Bulls-eye" and she codenames Atlas "Bill". All three are a reference to Charles Dickens' 1838 novel Oliver Twist, where Bill Sykes is a powerful gang leader, Bulls-eye is his vicious dog, and Nancy is his abused girlfriend.

Megumi's plasmid causes two separate effects and both were thoroughly researched by Suchong. Crystalmancy/Crystallokinesis: this power grants Megumi the ability to generate stones directly from her skin. This unique capability allows her to manipulate materials with high molecular density through a specialised form of gemstone telekinesis. When she creates these stones, they are not mere imitations; rather, they are composed of minerals derived from any physical substance in her vicinity, be it water, skin, wood, metal, or other materials. The resulting stones bear a striking resemblance to precious gems such as jade, aquamarine, opal, amethyst, and rose quartz. They last permanently once made, which led Fontaine to contemplate releasing an exclusive jewellery range for his department store, with her as the face and "designer". She can also manipulate existing stones, and this versatility means that Megumi can draw upon her surroundings as well as herself to form her creations, and turn anything into a weapon. It was noted toward the end of her study that she can manipulate the minerals in one's bloodstream, turning their blood to stone and killing them.Diamond form: Megumi possesses a remarkable power that allows her to elevate her skin temperature to such an extent that it can crystallise the surrounding minerals, transforming her body into diamond. This transformation is not merely cosmetic; it fundamentally alters her physical properties and capabilities. Body is jagged and translucent, glows purple in ultraviolet light. Clothes and other inorganic matter do not transform. In her diamond form, Megumi retains her normal range of motion, allowing her to move with agility and grace despite the seemingly rigid nature of her exterior. One of the most significant advantages of this transformation is her enhanced resistance to extreme temperatures, whether faced with the heat or the cold, Megumi remains unaffected, her diamond-like skin acting as a protective barrier against thermal extremes. The transformation grants her an extraordinary level of durability; bullets and other projectiles simply bounce off her, rendering her impervious to conventional weaponry. This newfound resilience extends beyond physical attacks; Megumi also experiences a profound alteration in her emotional state. In this diamond form, she exhibits a notable lack of emotional response, which serves as a psychological advantage in high-stress situations, allowing her to remain calm and calculated. In addition to defensive capabilities, Megumi's physical strength is amplified to superhuman levels. She can exert tremendous force without the risk of fatigue, allowing her to perform feats of strength that would be impossible for an ordinary human. This combination of strength and durability makes her a formidable opponent in any confrontation. But the most intriguing aspects of her diamond-like state is the complete absence of a DNA signature; a unique characteristic that renders her undetectable by Rapture's advanced defense systems, which rely on biological markers to identify and track individuals, even if she is added to the system. As a result, Megumi can move through secure areas without triggering alarms or being recognised, aided by the fact her jagged surface eliminates the possibility of leaving fingerprints, nor does she excrete bodily fluids, making her an elusive figure for any underhanded operation. This revelation was ultimately why Frank opted to keep her power a secret."Ol' Razzle Dazzle" was never marketed, but its advert was scripted : Step aside, Mae West! Diamonds have claimed the title of everyone's best friend! Arm yourself in style against adversity and unleash a dazzling onslaught that will linger in their memories forever. The official caption for the power would have been "Hold to cover yourself in a layer of diamond, becoming invincible to bullets and undetectable to security". In Bioshock, it was intended to be used as a plasmid to retreat. By Bioshock 2, it was a timed click and had two upgrades, which would allow the wielder to throw crystal shards, similarly to all the other plasmids, and set a Ruby Rose Trap, when stood on, detonated into a shrapnel bomb.Despite being officially associated romantically with Frank Fontaine, she has secretly enticed Augustus Sinclair and was instructed to seduce Sullivan as part of an undercover mission aimed at liberating a member of Fontaine's inner circle from Persephone. However, Fontaine was killed before this plan could be executed. Sullivan maintains a strained relationship with her, suspecting her intentions, while Sinclair is much the same. Her initial two albums were launched prior to the Rapture and served as soundtracks for her films, "Ire Desire" and "Flowers in Flow." In 1952, she released her third album, Another Good Time, after moving to Rapture, marking her first independent work. The tracks are attributed to Sander Cohen, who composed the entire album, with most of the songs being 1950 interpretations of contemporary pieces.

β€” ❖ β€”What is written below is heavily a Work in Progress.Originally engaged to Hanzō Shimada, Megumi left the clan before their marriage following the assassination of Sojiro Shimada, when tensions between Hanzō and his brother, Genji, began to become dangerously unstable. When news spread that she had ties to the Hashimotos and that she may have had a more direct connection to Sojiro's death, she left Japan and never returned. She travelled, performing various espionage jobs as an assassin and freelance thief, working as a double agent for anyone who could pay her fees, all the while building a decent, secretive reputation for herself. During this time, she was caught up in the Blacksand Fires of Tahiti, a home turf war between Overwatch and the Deepsea Raiders, in which she opportunistically killed her client's target, Malosi Senior, an incident for which Overwatch was always held responsible.Following Overwatch's downfall, Megumi was tasked with infiltrating Oasis in Iraq to gather information on the supposedly-alive former member, Gabriel Reyes. However, her mission was thwarted when she was captured by Moira O'Deorain. After some deliberation and negotiation, it was decided that Megumi would not be turned over to the authorities - as she had become one of the most wanted women in the East - on the condition that she become Moira's next genetic project. Using the work of her colleague, Head Geologist Dr. Anya Al-Shahrani, as a collaborator, Megumi became one of Moira's most promising and fruitful projects, with her body genetically engineered to crystalise at will, generating diamonds and gemstone from the very pores of her skin. When Moira left to take an active position in Talon, she wanted to recruit Megumi to her side, as she fit the vision of the world Doomfist had for Earth, but she refused, knowing that the organization was becoming a dangerous target for vigilantes. They parted ways and Megumi returned to her independent work. She has freelanced randomly over the years for Jack Morrison, Vishkar, Talon and Blackwatch.β€” ❖ β€”She identifies as aromantic/asexual.She identifies as strictly she/her.She possesses a single tattoo, a prominent greyscale ivy vine that spirals from her left hip to her knee.Though she was created (by me) before Hazard's release, she would genetically be the female counterpart to him, as both underwent the same exposure to the Oasis lab and chemical. She wears multiple different perfumes, but her signature one is incense, opoponax and anise. NARUTO

Magenta
Megumi's student, Magenta, caught her eye as a kunoichi who exuded femme fatale traits, though with a playful, Barbie-like charm that seemed crafted to lure in her targets. Aware of the potential she possessed, Megumi decided to hone Magenta's abilities in both seduction and combat, officially taking her on as a pupil, though she finds the teenager frustrating and lazy.
Danzō
A childhood friend of Megumi's, along with Hiruzen Sarutobi. They met when Megumi was taken as a student of Tobirama Senju, three years Shimura's junior. They were brought together again when both were called to the front lines during the First Shinobi War. After the loss of her father and brother, Megumi came to rely on the quiet Shimura's presence, and eventually, he became her confidant and the man of her romantic interest. They have shared seldom intimate moments over the years, Danzō preferring to keep an emotional, aloof distance as he does with everyone, despite Megumi's wish for something deeper. When Root was formed, what was left of their delicate and dying relationship (due to Shimura's further withdrawing nature) was thrown into turmoil when Megumi was offered two positions and ultimately took up being one of Sarutobi's two ANBU bodyguards over that of a high officer in Root. Danzō still remains a deep-rooted part of her life and the object of her one-sided attraction.
HiruzenOrochimaru
The former student of Hiruzen and shinobi of Danzō, Megumi has known Orochimaru since he was born. She carries a strong dislike for the man.

BorderlandsJack
Megumi's husband, her his second wife. They were married a shocking three months after she joined Hyperion, Jack taken by her effortless class and artful manner of murdering others. She left Jack, unable to kill Angel, and disappeared, leaving him heartbroken and deeply vengeful. They crossed paths again when she dated Hugo Vasquez. Jack, a hologram, recognised her voice on the intercom before Vasquez's death, curious to why she'd returned to Hyperion and enraged she'd "cheated" on him. When he put himself into Helios' network, essentially becoming the A.I., the two shared a very tense conversation via phone as Megumi departed for Maliwan. She was careful not to tell him about her mission for the Sirens, instead telling him she grew disgusted of his behaviour of Angel and discovering her was "too much to handle".Wilhelm
Wilhelm, the Head of Spec-Ops and Handsome Jack's loyal assistant, was tasked by Jack to carry out Megumi for six million dollars. Wilhelm has been on her trail across the galaxy, initially planning to eliminate her as per Jack's orders. However, despite having ample chance to fufill that order, he has not, and his reasons for not doing so remain ambiguous to Megumi. To her dismay, Maliwan has asked her to entertain their encounters to gather information on Hyperion, under the condition that he be dealt with if he poses a problem.
They have exchanged blows on multiple occasions, and Megumi privately believes that the man harbours feelings for her.Rhysβ€” ❖ β€”
